GoGreen Team supporting B'lore's 1st Brevet Ride 05 Dec 2010

Bangalore Brevets launch had an inaugural 200km ride on December 5th, 2010! This ride is not ACP sanctioned, but a teaser for the actual 200km ride to come in January. Today’s ride also had 100 KM option.

This was NOT a race, but a ride to enjoy the beauty of self sustained cycling - the goal is the distance and the journey and not how fast you do it. You don’t have a team and its all about how you sustain on longish rides like this.

Members from BBC, Go Green & other groups Participated in this event. Registrations started from 5:30am onwards and went on to 6:00am. Totally 200 Cyclist participated in today’s event. The event kick started from Cubbon Park’s Queens park @ 6:30am.  Go Green Team were honored to lead this Mega ride.   

Their were few Go Green riders who participated in the entire stretch & the rest of them rode till GKVK & entered the GKVK campus and returned back.

From RIS Junction : 
Started @ 5:30am frm RIS/Coffee day junction -Jaynagar 4th Block - Jnagar 3rd block -Sount end Circle - Patalamma Temple St - 
Madhava rao Circle - Vasvi Temple Rd - Sajjan Rao Circle - Karanataka Auto Consultants - Minerva Circle - JC Road 
- Town Hall - Hudson Circle - Cubbon Park

From Cubbon Park to GKVK & Return: 
Started @ 6:30am frm Cubbon-Park - MS Building - LH - Chalukya Hotel - Golf Park - Windsor manor under bridge - Ramanamaha Rushi Road - Makheri Circle - Bellary Road - Bangalore Baptist Hospital - Hebbal Flyover - Colmbia Asia - L&T Kamatsu - GKVK
