22 GGI's participated on 02Oct10 Gandhi Jayanthi's special Cycle Rally for love & Peace, Started off from RIS junction by 3:30pm & reached MG-Park by 4:00pm. As we reached the starting point we saw our GGI-North group also came down at the same time. We had Bangalore Doordarshan Kendra's Director Mr. Mahesh Joshi & P.A Nazareth the Managing Trustee of Sarvodaya International trust along with us. Their were couple of other students who particpated in this rally. We were nearing to 45 members who cycled along the below said route. First Route starting from RIS junction: RIS Junction -Jaynagar 4th Block - Jnagar 3rd block - Ashoka Pillar - Lalbagh rear gate/Siddapura Road - straight Madura Auto Services Road - Wilson Garden- Park - Shanthinagar Main Bus stand- Double road - KH Road - Right under flyover - lavell Road - Jewels De paragon - Mahatma Gandhi-Park Cycling Rally Route : Mahatma Gandhi Road - Go along Queens Road upto (Manipal Centre) then MG Road (upto St. Marks Cathedral) - Brigade Road - Residency Road - Concluding @ Bishop Cotton's Boys School.
