World Environment day & Times Cycle 2 work Ride 05 jun 10

June 5th being World Environment Day & also Times has arranged a Pride ride near to Sarjarpura Road hence decided to start early by 5:45am.  Totally 54 GGI's participated in this Ride of total distance of 42 Kms. (Starting from RIS Junction.)
Reached Venue at 7:05am. 

Their were couple of incidents which occurred during the ride for Pride. Go Green Rao fell down into a small ditch while shooting a video but escaped with bruises on both legs & a sprain on the right hand meanwhile Timm's too fell down from his Cycle while avoiding a small stone of dimension less than 2" . Injured both his legs luckily both of us escaped fatal injuries.. The third incident was little different. One of our GGI Member lost his Merida Cycle which was parked inside the venue but not locked however he got it back after 1 Hr.    
 
Lesson to learn " Do Lock u'r Cycles.."   
 
All in all it was good event where Mother Nature was all along helping to cover the clouds and make it a pleasant climate. We did noticed few issues hope the same would be taken care in the up coming events.. 
1)Being so well organised they didn't had a Repair section designated to check issues on the bike.. (Brakes, Chain adjustments & Puncher )
2)People who have finished the ride @ 9:00am have to wait till 11:00am..   
3)Vehicle moments were not stopped/Blocked during the ride.

RIS Junction - Jayadeva Flyover - BTM Udapi Garden - Silkboard Junction - Agara Bridge -HSR Layout junction - ORS junction - Sarjapura -Total Mall - Times - Venue.

                      Venkatesh lost his 
               Merida Cycle as he had not locked 
               his cycle @ the Venue. His luck
               turned up while a kid who had taken
               the cycle for a ride, promptly parked
               back the cycle. .. Guys one more
               lesson to learn from the incident. Do
               Lock u'r Bikes while u r not on
               it ..:) and don't hope to be as luck
               as this member . :)
